I’m not at all sure how I feel about True Blood. Alan Ball = Brilliant. But I don’t really enjoy the ride. Confounded, mostly. Evan Rachel Wood (above) plays Sophie-Anne Leclerq – the vampire queen. First appearing in the episode Frenzy – and in that swim suit. A Norma Kamali. Specifically, the Jersey collection.

Glee is the word. The show won’t return till November 11 on account of a little thing called the World Series. Dianna Agron (2nd from the right) who plays Quinn Fabray is wearing Calvin Klein. The Calvin Klein Ruched Dot Dress to be exact. Ep was Vitamin D, which aired on October 7th and featured the boys and girls of Glee… Glee-ing off.

The movie Push. Did you see it? A sci-fi thriller starring what looked like a pretty exciting cast (Chris Evans, Camilla Belle, Dakota Fanning, Djimon Hounsou). Pretty short (and in some places, delayed) release. The white-ish, silver-ish dress Camilla Belle sports above comes from Japanese fashion house Cosmic Wonder. Founded in 1999 and headed by Yukinori Maeda, the label bases itself in Osaka. Seen the film? The blue dress Summer Finn (Zooey Deschanel) wears to the work colleagues wedding. The dress she dances with Tom (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) in before stomping all over his heart on her rooftop. According to an interview with 500 Days‘ costume designer Hope Hanafin, the dress came from Western Costume – a North Hollywood outfit that “[f]rom the birth of Hollywood to the new millennium … has dressed virtually every major star film has known.” I’d like to see you beat that claim.
